Girls Summer Research Program
Headwaters 2021 Girls Summer Research Experience (previously a camp) returns this year with a new format: as a digital learning cohort that will meet together online in an inspiring all-female environment. After learning reasearch methods and data collection techniques in class online, students will head off the screen to do data collection at a site of their choice near home.
Though group sessions and one-on-one mentor sessions do meet digitally this program is kept as screen free as possible.
Students can also take the option to camp at our regular yearly campsite at Webber Lake near Truckee California. Camping will be socially distanced and all meals are independent. There are no scheduled group activities during this week. However, a Headwaters staff member will be on hand to help with data collection for those who attend.
Dates: June 21-July 20
Cost: $1350 ($1450 with camping week)
Optional Camping at Webber Lake: July 12-16 (add $100 to registration fee)
Session times: female specific sessions are TBD based on participants availability
