Summer Camps

We give children the opportunity to explore nature with a host of hands-on science camps designed for children to have fun while exploring the unique ecology of the beautiful Truckee-Tahoe area and now the Space Coast of Florida. Campers participate in activities like hiking, water exploration, and nature games and crafts. Headwaters’ team of science mentors and counselors make the science fun and engaging, allowing children to ask questions that spark their curiosity. These camps show kids that science is all around them while forging a unique connection to the flora and fauna of the region.

TESTIMONIALS

What Kids Are Saying

What I loved most about camp was how we learned and improved on our science skills, but at the same time, we would also have fun. I also got the opportunity to interact with females from all over California, that love science the same way that I do. This camp has really opened my eyes to the science fields and has helped me realized that science can play a big role in selecting my career.
