At Your Campus:
Three day programs start at $1,600 per day per class. Financial assistance is available. The school is responsible for transportation costs to nearby field sites.
We work with the teachers so that they can utilize the student driven research protocol without us in the future. For added value the school can use the program with students as a professional development workshop for other teachers as well. The teachers can observe our program and we will make time for round table discussions about how the teachers can implement student driven research in their own classroom.
Overnight trip to a location of your choice:
$50 per day per student for the teaching program
Cost of food and lodging for students/teachers and Headwaters staff as well as all travel costs for students/teachers and HSI staff.
$100 per staff member per day to observe other school programs
Free for classroom teachers as part of a school program
Participants are responsible for their own transportation, food, and lodging costs.

Curriculum development is bid on a per job basis. We offer discounts to teachers that have done one of our trainings or have done a program with HSI. Please contact Meg for more information.
There are many grant opportunities for teachers and schools. Our curriculum meets the common core and Next Gen Science standards. There is a lot of money out there to help teachers do common core and NGSS field trips. We are happy to help teachers with the application process. We know that a teacher’s time is limited, so we can find appropriate grants and help write them and fill out the application. Please contact Meg if you are interested in getting help with this process.
