Studying frogs in Honduras with Joe Townsend, PhD

Josiah (Joe) Townsend is an Associate Professor of Biology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Visiting Professor at the Zamorano Biodiversity Center in Honduras. He has spent over 20 years studying the diversity of amphibians and reptiles in Honduras. Work by Townsend and his colleagues has resulted in the discovery and description of 27 new species to date, work that has directly promoted the conservation of endemic species at national and international levels.
