Episode 3 (Live on 4/7 at 11 a.m.): Mark Stanback, Biology professor at Davidson College.
Mark is interested in teaching and learning about the interactions between evolutionary biology, animal behavior, and ecology. For his Ph.D. Mark studied cooperative breeding in acorn woodpeckers, and later went to Namibia to study sperm storage, monogamy, and hatching asynchrony in hornbills. Suggested grade level 8-12
Episode 2 (3/31): Hannah Kahl, PhD candidate at UC Davis studying earwigs in California citrus. Suggested grade level 4-8
Episode 1 (3/24): Daniel Dudek, a graduate student from Indiana University Pennsylvania who studies evolutionary biology in Central American frogs. Suggested grade level 6-10
