Event: Headwaters’ Arbor Day Virtual Planting Party April 30th
- March 22, 2021 -

Join Headwaters Science Institute and the Villager Nursery for an exciting opportunity to learn how to incorporate native plants into your home garden, from the Sacramento area to the high Sierra and in between.

Description:

Native plants are an easy and beautiful addition to your landscape, and may not be as hard to take care of as you think! In this virtual lesson, Mary ellen will walk you through plant selection for your home garden, guided by expert botanist Eric Larusson. We’ll cover hearty plants that suit the Sacramento through High Sierra planting zones. Then, we’ll do a dedicated community planting at the pocket park in Downtown Truckee.
