About the Documentary

Following the historic reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park in 1995, Wonders of the Wolf shares the story of their remarkable recovery through the eyes of the biologists who study them. The film highlights how researchers use innovative tools, including bioacoustic technology, to understand wolf communication, support coexistence between wildlife and communities, and protect these iconic animals for future generations.

Winner of Best Central Coast Documentary Short at the 2025 San Luis Obispo International Film Festival and Best Documentary at the 2025 Idyllwild International Film Festival, Wonders of the Wolf offers an inspiring look at the science, conservation, and people behind Yellowstone’s wolf recovery story.
