Learn to do professional quality research this summer in an all-female setting:
Research and the process of discovering the unknown is one of the most exciting parts of the sciences. You will engage in this very process by conducting your very own original research and submitting your discoveries to a science journal for publication. To guide you through this rewarding process, you will be paired with a Headwaters staff scientist mentor.
This year’s Girls Summer Science Camp will take place during one session of the Headwaters Research Experience program. Girls will be placed in a female-only group session. This program is virtual, however one week of research time on-site at Webber Lake (our usual Girls Camp site) will be made available for individual campers to attend with their family and do socially-distanced research.

Location:Â Online group sessions, independent data collection outside near your home or at Webber Lake
2021 Camp dates:Â June 21- August 20
- group sessions will take place during a time that works for all participants
- additional mentor sessions will be scheduled one-on-one
Cost:Â $1350, or $1450 including the camping option
